I am a retired special educator and administrator who is passionate about supporting individuals in reaching their learning and career goals. I have more than 40 years of experience in the E-12 public school setting and have more recently been working with adult learners in their pursuit of licensure as special education teachers and administrators. Both my Bachelors (Western Michigan University) and Masters (University of South Dakota) degrees are in special education. I am excited to continue to work as a tutor in the field of education.

I am a voracious reader of both fiction and non-fiction. My greatest joy comes from spectating events involving my grandchildren (music, dance, sports, school performances, etc). I love to attend (or watch on TV/live stream) baseball, hockey, soccer, volleyball, curling and fast pitch softball competitions. Our entire family are avid game players - all manner of board games and card games. I also love to travel. My husband and I travel the US in our motorhome (glamping) and we have also traveled to several other (but not enough) countries.
