I am passionate about helping students because I believe education is one of the most powerful tools to unlock potential and transform lives. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of mentoring and guiding colleagues, interns, and students, which has allowed me to share my knowledge and experience in corporate finance, regulatory compliance, and entrepreneurship.

I have a diverse background, having earned my Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management with high distinction, followed by a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Toronto. As a CPA and with over 15 years of professional experience in fields such as investment banking, financial modeling, corporate finance, and legal document drafting, I have developed a deep expertise in business strategy, accounting, and compliance.

In my current role as CFO at a B2B SaaS platform for clean energy procurement, I have also expanded my skill set to include sustainability and clean energy, areas where I'm eager to share my market knowledge and help students understand the real-world applications of these subjects. My goal is to bridge the gap between theory and practice, as I believe that learning should always be connected to real-world scenarios that students can relate to and apply.

I tutor subjects including accounting, corporate finance, financial modeling, and general business studies, but I am most passionate about corporate finance and the practical application of financial principles in business. I enjoy helping students navigate complex topics by using simple, relevant examples and real-world case studies.

My teaching philosophy is student-centered, meaning I focus on understanding the individual needs of each student. I aim to foster a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts deeply. I believe in breaking down complex topics into manageable chunks and building students' confidence step by step. I try to make lessons engaging and relatable, ensuring that students understand how what they're learning connects to real-life scenarios.

Outside of academia, I'm passionate about sustainability and clean energy, which are key areas of my work, and I enjoy staying up-to-date with the latest developments in these fields. I'm also an advocate for work-life balance and value spending time with my family and pursuing activities that recharge my energy.

Through my tutoring, I hope to inspire students not only to succeed academically but also to apply their learning to make a real-world impact.
