I am a proud graduate of The University of Louisiana at Lafayette where I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Since graduation, I have worked as a classroom teacher in grades K-3 teaching all core subjects. Currently, I have been teaching for 11 years. My greatest passion is in the area of ELA, English Language Arts. In my experience helping struggling students, I have always loved to see the remarkable growth my students have shown. It warms my heart to see their knowledge and confidence soar. I believe learning should have some component of fun! Thus, I enjoy making lessons enjoyable and engaging for diverse learners. I am a firm believer that all students can learn and be successful with the right resources. I am one of those resources! I enjoy learning and wish to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling.
