I am currently graduating from McGill University with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and International Development Studies. Much of my degree revolves around global history studies, as well as strong reading and writing skills. I am passionate about writing and my extensive experience with research report and essay writing makes me the ideal tutor for anyone looking for some help in this arena! My teaching philosophy is constructive, meaning feedback is of utmost importance to me. It is my responsibility to ensure that the person I am tutoring is comfortable with my teaching style and is comprehending the information easily. I am always willing to change the way I format a tutoring session if the student does not find my current style of teaching the most appropriate for their learning needs. As someone who was tutored themself and struggled with teachers and professors not adapting to my needs, I take this very seriously.

I love to learn languages and I am fluent in English, advanced in Spanish, and currently working on my French and Hindi. As a non-native Spanish speaker, I understand the challenges with learning the language first hand. I am well-versed in the process of beginning to learn a new language as I have done it numerous times! I intend to go to law school and earn a degree in International Law, so language acquisition continues to be a core pillar of my education.

In Summer 2024, I worked with an organization that developed educational material on global politics. This is where the bulk of my teaching experience lies, specifically in making educational content like lesson plans, power points, essay prompts and outlines, and more. I am committed to making my lessons organized in a way that streamlines the learning experience and I am familiar with adapting themes in global history studies for this purpose. So far, I have received great feedback on my material!
