I went through the Shawnee Mission school district as a kid, and graduated from high school. I went on to college at Cleveland Chiropractic College KC. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. This has given me a rich education mainly in science and taught me valuable study skills. While in college, I tutored as a work study job. I helped fellow students, I tutored adults so they could pursue their GED, as well as working with people learning English as a second language. I have been an aunt since I was thirteen years old and have much experience working with kids of all ages.

I tutor elementary sciences and also work with high schoolers in science. I love Biology, Chemistry and Physics especially. I tutor reading as well for all ages.

I believe that all students are unique. Each has the potential to learn. My job as a tutor is to create a supportive and engaging environment where they can explore their interests and develop their skills. This is accomplished through collaboration, active participation, fostering critical thinking, developing creativity and promoting social skills. This is taught through lectures, activities and most importantly, fun! I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and my goal is to inspire my students to become lifelong learners.

Outside of tutoring, I love sports!! I really love baseball and going out to the KC Royals games, I enjoy a day at the ballpark. I also love live music. My husband and I take road trips often. We go to see concerts and baseball games at new, exciting places. I am an avid reader and love to curl up with a good book. I mainly love to have fun in life!
