I have been a teacher for 18 years. During this time, I have taught Middle School Math and Science, as well as Special Education and Gifted classes. I am passionate about teaching and helping students learn, and I am a strong believer that students do best when they learn in a way that best suits them. I have taught Math for 17 years of my teaching career, and Math is also my favorite subject to teach.

I work hard to determine where student weaknesses are and to develop ways to meet the student where he/she is and help fill in gaps and be successful with the material.

Currently I am certified to teach Math and Science grades 5-8, Special Education grades Pk-12, and Gifted grades Pk-12.

I am offering tutoring in the subjects of Math and Science. I work with students to help develop a plan that will best suit their needs.

I believe building relationships with students and earning their respect and trust is the best way to begin teaching them the material. I would begin by assessing what they already know, one or two concepts at a time. I would use this information to develop a plan for your child. I would love the opportunity to work with your child to help them meet their academic goals.
