I'm a graduate with a Joint Honours Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Latin American & Caribbean Studies from McGill University with a deep passion for writing, critical thinking, and making complex ideas accessible. As President of the Spanish and Latin American Students' Association, I have regularly led workshops and discussions that explore global histories, cultures, and political movementsskills I bring into my tutoring to foster curiosity and confidence in students. My academic experience is grounded in research, writing, and interdisciplinary analysis, and I've published in academic journals while maintaining a spot on the Dean's Honour Roll. I believe that learning is most impactful when it feels collaborative, empowering, and connected to the real world. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about community engagement, climate justice, and the arts. I’ve been involved in youth-led activism for several years and served as Communications Lead for a collective that challenged fossil fuel misinformation through creative public outreach. I also love storytelling in all its forms—whether through writing, theatre, or music. I’ve directed plays, sung with the Vancouver Opera Children’s Chorus, and trained in vocal performance. On the weekends, you’ll often find me hiking, skiing, or camping—activities that reflect my love for the outdoors and collaborative learning. These experiences shape my approach as a tutor: creative, grounded, and always curious.
