My undergraduate experiences earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas as Dallas fueled my passion for education and supporting others in their learning. My journey began as a biology teaching assistant where I discovered that effective communication is key to bridging comprehension gaps for students. Beyond the classroom, I led MCAT teaching sessions where I supported my classmates with study resources, test-taking strategies, and personalized mentorship. Watching their confidence and scores improve reinforced my commitment to creating an environment of growth and encouragement. My academic background has equipped me to teach a range of subjects, but I am most passionate about math, science, and reading. Within science, my strongest areas are biology and chemistry. No matter the subject, I focus on clear communication, active engagement, and individualized support tailored to each student's needs. My curiosity and love for learning extend beyond academics as I enjoy playing sports, listening to and playing music, and exploring astronomy. I'm excited to begin the next chapter of my academic life as I pursue my medical education at UT Southwestern, where I look forward to sharing my knowledge, learning techniques, and passion for education to help other students accomplish their academic goals and grow as learners.

From a young age, I have been captivated by the cosmos, eagerly tracking eclipses, planetary conjunctions, and astrophysical discoveries while observing the night sky through my telescope. This fascination has instilled in me a boundless curiosity that drives me to seek knowledge in unexpected places. Music is another lifelong passion. I practice piano daily, specializing in classical compositions such as Fur Elise and Moonlight Sonata, refining both my technical skills and my appreciation for discipline and consistency. Similarly, basketball has been a defining part of my life, teaching me teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance. Competing in tournaments and playing alongside diverse teammates has reinforced the importance of collaboration.
