As a dedicated educator with a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's in Secondary Education from Arcadia University, I have over six years of tutoring experience, complemented by 28 years of teaching Language Arts at both middle and high school levels. I specialize in middle and high school reading, writing and grammar, where I strive to ignite students' love for reading and writing. My approach centers on creating engaging, interactive lessons that connect with students' interests while fostering a supportive environment where they can discover their potential. Witnessing the moment a student grasps a challenging concept is incredibly rewarding and reinforces my commitment to teaching. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy creative writing and exploring literature, which further enriches my tutoring practice. I believe that effective communication skills are essential for success, and I am dedicated to helping my students master these skills.
