Certified Tutor

With a fine arts and education background, I bring a creative and student-centred approach to tutoring. I earned my bachelor's degree in Drawing and Printmaking and am completing the Google Project Management Certificate to deepen my organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Over the past several years, I've taught art, design, academic writing, and media studies at the university level and provided one-on-one support to learners of all ages in various subjects.
I tutor visual arts, design software (including Adobe Creative Suite), writing, project planning, and foundational academic skills. I especially enjoy tutoring visual arts and writing subjects that empower students to find their voice and express ideas confidently and clearly.
My tutoring style is adaptive, supportive, and structured around each student's learning needs. I focus on building trust, encouraging curiosity, and creating a low-pressure environment where students feel safe to take risks and grow. I also value helping learners connect their studies to their personal or academic goals.
Outside of tutoring, I'm a practicing artist and storyteller who enjoys video-making, cultural exploration, and spending time in nature. These interests often shape my teaching, blending creativity with reflection and real-world relevance.
