I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2024 with my BA in Psychology, and have spent over 3 years as a Teaching Assistant / Lead Teaching Assistant for various college courses. Prior to my TA work, I also volunteered as a peer mentor in high school to assist others with various classwork and organization. Throughout all of this, I take great pride in helping students thrive and feel comfortable with the subjects, whatever they might be. I consider myself to be a very down-to-earth / laid-back person and understand everyone learns at different paces: as such, I believe that a tutor should adapt their teaching style to fit a student's learning style, not the other way around. Looking forward to working with and meeting a wide variety of people, and am always up for a challenge! You know what they say - if you don't understand the material, it's not you that's failed, it's me!

During my free time, I enjoy various activities such as gaming, hiking, visiting zoos / aquariums, and activities with my friends such as D&D. Although my major is in Psychology, I also have a deep passion for zoology and animals in general - I even have a pet snake! In my opinion, the best part about things such as hiking is looking for wildlife while you do it, since you never know what you'll find on a given day. There's a ton of crazy stories I could tell about the various encounters I've had at my local nature parks!
