I received my doctorate in Neuroscience from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2024 and my Bachelors of Science degree in Biotechnology from James Madison University in 2017. Since graduation, I have traveled extensively throughout France. I recently began my current job as a researcher at Duke University. I have a passion for mentoring students high school students, undergraduates, and graduate students. I have mentored 8 high school students to publication. I am excited to mentor any students in chemistry or biology. I would be eager to teach anything about neuroscience, sleep, sleep therapies, or brain development, each a topic in my graduate. I am a firm proponent of education. I aspire to inspire the scientific drive in others, especially those that are deemed inadequate or have not been given an opportunity. In my spare time, I enjoy music and keeping my self active through running, biking, sports, etc.
