Certified Tutor

As a teacher with 15 years of experience, I'm excited to apply my skills and experiences to tutoring students for Varsity Tutors. I earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a math minor and have been teaching high school students. Through that experience, I learned that students remember and understand the steps to solve equations easier when I make them feel confident in themselves. I implemented unique teaching strategies, such as little rhymes, foldables, and using technology to excite students about math. I'm passionate about teaching and helping students come to have a lifelong love of learning.
