The teachers I remember most fondly are the ones who helped me learn to care about and find myself within a subject. It is for this reason that I believe instructors ought to show their students the beauty, importance, and practicality of what they're teaching. No matter what walks of life we come from, there is something we can all learn from writing and literature. After all, our lives are our own stories and we are the authors. Once we realize this, our entire perception changes and the hidden doors to knowledge and wisdom begin to open.
