Certified Tutor

I am a senior at Florida International University and will be receiving my Bachelors in the Behavior Analysis Track in Psychology. I am also pursuing certification as an RBT, taking the courses necessary to complete. I am most passionate about tutoring in Reading, Math, Writing, and Science, as I have experience working with students in all four. I recently tutored 3rd Grade Reading for Teach For America's Ignite Fellowship program where my interest for tutoring blossomed. I have 3+ years of experience volunteering with students from 3rd- 8th grade on subjects like STEM, Robotics, and Theater. I center my teaching and tutoring on the foundation of inclusion, creating a space where the children feel seen and understood in their learning career. My passion for helping students comes from the teachers that have inspired my learning progress and I hope to make the same impact. In my free time, I enjoy reading, painting, collaging, drawing, sketching, watching movies and shows, and playing video games.
