I am a proud graduate of Northern Illinois University located in DeKalb, Illinois. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and began a phenomenal journey in education. Since graduation, I have been a substitute teacher throughout numerous districts in Illinois. In addition, I have been a tutor for Sylvan Learning Center, with a strong focus on phonics, writing, reading, and comprehension, While I am an experienced classroom teacher and tutor in K-5 subjects, I am most passionate about writing, reading, and art! I believe student success is achieved with a positive foundation about learning and a safe environment to make mistakes to grow. By giving your student the extra support with an experienced tutor, it will help them build their confidence and reach their full potential.
