I am a graduate of the University of Washington. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Biochemistry. Since graduation, I have worked as a CNA for 3 months and volunteered for a girls run club in my community. I was a reading tutor for 3 years at an elementary school and worked with a wide range of 3rd to 5th graders. My interest is in medicine, but I enjoy teaching students because it's exciting to see the "aha" moment when everything clicks. It is incredibly rewarding. In my free time I enjoy skating in my neighborhood and reading books.
