I have worked my entire professional life in the constantly and rapidly changing field of environmental science. I have been fortunate to have graduated into the real world with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Geological Science in the mid-1990s, when the field of environmental science and environmental regulations was very much still evolving into the advanced field it is today. I feel like my professional career has developed alongside the field of environmental science. Working as a Licensed Professional Geologist at an environmental consulting firm in Chicago since graduation has afforded me constant opportunities to coach and mentor dozens of young environmental professionals. It is with this extensive technical and teaching background that I enthusiastically offer my tutoring services to motivated students looking to attain that extra academic edge in the fields of environmental science and geology.

When not working as an environmental professional or tutoring, I enjoy all things sports related. Though I enjoy watching many college and professional sports, I have taken the most interest in watching our daughters’ athletic careers in the rapidly expanding sports of both volleyball and soccer. I wouldn’t consider myself a geologist/environmental scientist if I didn’t enjoy spending time outside. I also enjoy a multitude of outdoor endeavors like biking, hiking, running, kayaking, and skiing.
