I am a proud graduate of Cleveland State University where I received my degree, a Bachelor of Arts, with a focus in Spanish. Since graduating, I have had the amazing opportunity to move to Spain where I lived and worked for two years as an ESL teacher. I worked at a primary school teaching young students the basics of English as well as giving adults private tutoring in my spare time. Living and WOrking in Spain I was able to learn Spanish as a second language. I am passionate about teaching English and Spanish as second languages because I find it fulfilling that I am able to assist students in developing skills that will serve them in their lives. My teaching philosophy centers around creating a student-centered environment where each learner feels supported, challenged, and engaged. I adapt my tutoring style to meet students' learning preferences, encouraging active participation and critical thinking. In my free time I enjoy watching films or series, staying active and traveling.
