I am very happy with our experience so far with Varsity Tutors. They matched my daughter with reading specialist Mary and she is wonderful! My 10 year old daughter feels happy after her sessions and believes her tutor has already helped her.

Vincent: Dolton tutor

Certified Tutor

I am soon graduating from Boston University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. I am also experienced in teaching a variety of STEM-based projects to elementary-age students in the Boston-area. I am most passionate in tutoring for Mathematics. My tutoring philosophy is to emphasize that math is a skill and not something that's just innate in people, there's no such thing as "just a math-person," anyone and evereyone can be good at math. The difference is how we think about math, and why does math work the way it does. Once someone understands the "why," they can overcome any "how."
