Certified Tutor

I am a Physics and Mathematics student at Skidmore College. At school I am currently doing research in High Energy Astrophysics and working at the Maker-Space as an assistant. I began tutoring when I was in high school and have kept at it since then. I tutor math and physics from the middle school to the college level, Biology up to the AP level, and Programming.

For the past year I have been a Physics PAC at my school, helping underclassmen with their classwork in classes I've already done. Tutoring physics and math are my favorite since I love explaining the process behind the derivations of these fundamental equations.

I strongly believe in education as a pillar of what makes a well rounded person in today's society and that fuels a lot of my passion for teaching. I think everyone has the right to knowledge, including whatever knowledge I hold!

Outside of teaching I really enjoy weightlifting, rock climbing and multi-media art.

Hobbies

When I'm not studying or working I enjoy: working out, making art with friends, working on my programming projects, playing video games, and hanging out with my partner. My most engrossing hobby right now is 3D printing, I got introduced to it in high school and thought it was the coolest thing ever. My dad taught my how to do 3D modeling in CAD when I was a kid and being able to take those virtual creations and bringing them to life is amazing.
