As a dedicated Computer Science student at the University of Georgia, I am passionate about utilizing my knowledge to foster a love for learning in young minds. My experience as a Lead Instructor at Mathnasium has allowed me to mentor students aged 6 to 16, where I emphasize the importance of a strong educational foundation. I created and taught a coding class that introduced students to Java, HTML, and CSS, demonstrating that coding is rooted in logical thinking rather than just technical skills. I specialize in mathematics and have a strong background in Spanish and chemistry, believing in connecting subject matter to students' interests for enhanced engagement. My teaching philosophy revolves around building confidence through supportive interactions, often incorporating personal anecdotes to make lessons relatable. I find joy in sports, which helps me connect with students and create a fun learning environment.
