My philosophy of education is rooted in active learning where students are not passive recipients of information but active participants in their educational journey. Through engaging, student-centered activities, I aim to instill a love for learning, encourage critical thinking skills, promote collaboration with peers, and allow each student to display their unique potential. It is my goal to create a comfortable class environment where students feel valued, respected, and empowered to express their ideas. I strongly believe that all students can learn and that each student has different talents and abilities that should be nurtured. I strive to establish strong student-teacher relationships and believe that a supportive connection enhances the learning experience. These student-teacher relationships can then evolve to one of mentorship, either immediate or longitudinal, in which I aim to help students with their careers goals by using my knowledge, experience, and network to help facilitate their success. Ultimately, I consider my student's success to reflect on me and I believe in making every effort to help my students achieve their academic and career goals.
