With a strong foundation in Chemistry Honours and a Bachelor of Education, I have dedicated my career to empowering students through quality education. My academic journey includes a B.Sc degree in Chemistry Honours from the University of Kalyani and a B.Ed degree from The West Bengal University of Teachers' Training, Education Planning and Administration, equipping me with both subject-specific knowledge and essential pedagogical skills. My passion for teaching chemistry stems from its fundamental role in explaining the natural world and my desire to make this fascinating subject accessible and engaging for students. My teaching experience began during my college years, tutoring primary and nursery school students at home. During my B.Ed course, I gained valuable experience teaching middle and high school students, which broadened my understanding of diverse learning needs and the importance of adapting teaching methods. I have since specialized in chemistry and physical science for students up to class 12. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that understanding a subject makes it more relatable and engaging. Inspired by a mentor's advice, I simplify complex topics without watering down the content, connecting them to real-life scenarios and stories, fostering a deep appreciation and understanding of the material. I focus on understanding each student's unique challenges, offering tailored support to address their specific needs and encouraging pre-class reading to build confidence and independence. Currently, I independently tutor students, guiding them through the complexities of chemistry and physical science, aiming to nurture their curiosity and critical thinking skills. Passionate about making a positive impact on my students' lives, I am eager to share my knowledge and experience through Varsity Tutors, contributing to the academic and personal growth of students from diverse backgrounds.
