Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Swarthmore College. I received my Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on robotics. I've worked as a private math and Spanish tutor, as a member of the Reading Partners organization, and as a math tutor for the Chester Children's Chorus program. I've had success tutoring in individual sessions, small group formats, and with students of all ages. I now tutor elementary to undergraduate math, and introductory Spanish.

I love getting to share what I know about the subjects I tutor. I think people learn best when they feel positively about their relationship with education, so I focus heavily on adapting how I teach to fit each student's academic and personal needs. A love of learning has really enriched my life so far, so my goal is to make my teaching give students a reason to enjoy learning at least a little bit more.

Other passions of mine include soccer, playing guitar, doing research, and robotics. Right now, I'm reading Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer, you should read it too.
