I remember the struggles of not understanding certain subjects as a young student. As I grew up I promised myself to be the best teacher I wished I had, be patient, kind, understanding and spend time with each student to help them achieve what they want to achieve.
I finished my degree in Applied Mathematics at York University and have over 5 years experience in tutoring students (grade 5 to 12 and university) in mathematics (calculus, advanced functions and data management). I always spend some time getting to know the student's hobbies and what their goals are, in addition to an assessment. Then, I make a plan accordingly and customize my teaching approach to each student.
