I am a student at Rochester Institute of Technology, working towards a double major in chemical engineering as well as Political science. I am interested in teaching as I enjoy sharing my experiences and passions with others, hoping to give and nurture the same level of interests in topics that I have. As represented by my double major, I have a wide range of interests and passions, and these correlate with the subjects that I enjoy teaching. I have always enjoyed the STEM subjects the most, specifically physics and chemistry, but I believe in the value of building a strong foundation in the basics of these subjects beforehand through fundamental understanding and focusing on the basics of these fields. I do however enjoy teaching history and politics, as well as writing, and have followed politics and have been interested in history my whole life. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, hiking, physical activity, and board games.

Hobbies

I am a student-athlete at Rochester Institute of Technology. I compete at the NCAA level in track and field, but I also do many other things on the side. I am a chemical engineering major and am also getting a degree in political science. My whole life I have had a heavy interest in athletics and physical fitness, but also in engineering, robotics, and STEM generally. I also have been very musical my whole life and participate in the RIT pep band playing trumpet. I have played for 8 years, and practice on my own time. I enjoy hiking, tinkering with anything I can get my hands on, and helping others start and progress in the activities I enjoy.
