Certified Tutor

I received my Ph.D. in Signal Theory and Communications at Universitat Politcnica de Catalunya (Spain), my Master of Science and Bachelor degrees in Telecommunications and Telematics, respectively at Instituto Politcnico Nacional (Mxico). My recent focus is in the designing of Radio Frequency devices for sensing applications.


During my medium and high education, I really enjoyed to explain concepts, equations and solving problems to my companions also because I am a passionate of the knowledge with an enormous curiosity. Hence, I know that my role was to help others to learn new things. On the other hand, through my Master and doctorate degrees, I did the same "help others" explaining hard concepts. Moreover, I had the opportunity to give Radio Frequency lectures in front of a class also in the laboratory.


Normally, I tutor subjects related to mathematics and physics in all levels from high school up to Master of Science degrees. However, I enjoyed most tutor engineering topics that are related to electronic and Radio Frequency topics such as circuit theory, electromagnetic theory, analogical and digital electronic, telecommunications systems and much more.
I like to tutor these subjects because they really passionate me. As I mentioned before I have experienced teaching to alumni and general population in person and/or online courses. For instance at the high school I taught courses of geometry and calculus then in the university I helped with linear algebra, calculus, optics and more. My teaching philosophy is simple, "first we understand the concepts with real world problems and then we can tackle the mathematics". I think this method is a reliable way because I can get the interest and attention of students and then they are prepared to work with difficult equations because they know how these ones are related with the reality.


Outside of academia, I love listening to music of all genres. Every now and then, I seek out music from different countries and cultures. Additionally, I enjoy reading sci-fi books and biographies of scientists. However, my main hobby is observing and taking photos of planes because I consider them to be true works of engineering art.
