My name is Tiffanie . I've been a nurse since 2002. My main interest was labor and delivery which I did work in for several years. There was an area on the unit that was for antepartum patients where we were able to care for Hydronephosis to magnesium drips. Our labor and delivery unit was a locked Level II LDRP and NICU. We did scheduled C-sections, emergency C-sections. Also recovered them in the PACU on the unit. Our patients varied between cytotec, Pitocin or Foleybulb inductions, pts with toxemia, and high risk patients. If the pt's serverity was higher than what we could care for, we would stabalize the patient until we could transfer them to a higher level facility. Our unit was set up to recover deliveries and be postpartum in the same room. Normally nurses would recover their delivery, and care for them throughout their postpartum stay before discharge.

I worked there for years when one of our OB/GYN doctors lost his nurse and asked if I would come to the office to be his nurse. The clinic I was in had one doctor, one nurse, and one CNA/assistant per team. We worked well as a team, we saw pregnancies from in vitro, high-risk pregnancies, Pregnancy of multiples, along with GYN patients. After that chapter in my life, I went into teaching and really enjoy working with students who want to learn.

I have two grown daughters; 1 is a lawyer in Omaha, Nebraska. The other is a teacher in Ohio, She has my 1st Grandson
