I'm from Chicago, but I was born in South Korea in the city of Daegu. I recently graduated from Iowa State, receiving my bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, and I'm a current Physical Therapy student at the University of Illinois Chicago. I love teaching and helping students succeed in subjects I am passionate about. I have a strong background in anatomy and physiology as well as exercise and sports science, having taken classes in these subjects at the 200, 300, and 400 levels at Iowa State. I have found a true love and passion for these subjects through taking these classes, and I hope to show others just how interesting these classes can be. I like to make sure that every student feels that they are being taught how they best learn and that they feel they are well equipped with the necessary tools and strategies to become independent learners so they are successful after our time together is through. I believe learning should be made simple and uncomplicated, even in the most intricate of topics, and I think every student should know how much potential they have both as a learner and as a person.
