I volunteered at a public library and participated in an exchange program at a Canadian school before I graduated. I have also been teaching Spanish and English as a foreign language at private and public educational institutions for the past twenty years. I was part of the International Leaders of Education program which was created by the American Department of State in 2017. In 2020, I obtained a master's degree in Comparative Literature with a thesis based on a Steinbeck novel and his focalization through American history and identity.
