I'm a freshly graduated master's in economics from The Federal University of Parana, Brazil (one of the country's best graduation courses in economics). While there, I had a six-month teaching assistant in microeconomics, aside from research in macroeconomics and behavioral economics that resulted in authorial papers with creative ideas.
During graduation, colleagues I helped study during the courses indicated me as a tutor. I taught a dozen microeconomic students in Brazil and one undergraduate calculus student in the US, all with great feedback.
I'm confident that I can transmit that passion for economics to my students as it was done to me a few years ago. At the beginning of my undergraduate, I was not a compromised student. I slowly developed my interest in economics throughout the course, with the help of good teachers who inspire me today.
I have fresh in my memory the challenges of an undergraduate course. As a young, full-of-energy teacher, I can establish a connection with students to generate interest even in the feared field of microeconomics. In fields that students are more likely to enjoy, such as macroeconomics and behavioral economics, I can share insights and in-depth knowledge as someone who has written and presented papers on the subjects.
