My mission statement has always been Passion meets Purpose. I am a 7th year English teacher. I have a Bachelors Degree in English from Texas Southern University. I am currently getting my Masters from Texas A&M in Curriculum and Instruction.
I am certified to teach 4-8, 7-12, and ESL. I have taught 7th grade, 8th grade, 10th grade, 12th grade, and Language Art College Prep. I also have experience as a Dyslexia Interventionist. I have a passion for the English language and literature. I love helping student's think critically and expand their own thought processes.
