I am passionate about helping children because I believe that every child should have the equal opportunity to find strategies that help them succeed. I have been working with children for 3 years. I started as a tutor helping children prepare for their end-of-the-year SOLs. I am now a math interventionist that helps students catch up to their grade level in math. I am working towards getting my degree in elementary education and special education. My favorite subject to tutor is math because I know different strategies that help children succeed in math. My teaching philosophy is every student has their challenges, skills, and talents. My tutoring style is finding what strategy helps each individual student.
