Certified Tutor
I am currently teaching science in a Texas public school in Parker County. I absolutely love teaching and would be thrilled to share my knowledge with others. I have also taught outside of public schools for TPWD and in veterinary medicine.
With my experience in teaching in an outdoor setting as a park interpreter, at public fish hatcheries, and in public schools, I have a diverse background in working with other educators, volunteers, students, and people of all age groups. I possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. I am innovative at preparing and delivering lessons that reflect differentiation for individual student needs. I am very efficient at planning and using appropriate learning strategies, activities, materials, equipment, and technology that reflect an understanding of the learning styles and needs of students and the public. I currently possess a bachelor's degree in Wildlife Management, a master's in Education in Curriculum and Instruction, and a master's in Agriculture with a wildlife emphasis. I received all my degrees from Tarleton State University which is part of the Texas A&M school system. I am looking forward to being a positive role model that will help others understand science concepts.
