I am a recent graduate of George Mason University. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Biology with a concentration in Biotechnology & Molecular Biology and Minor in Computational & Data Sciences. I have also trained in Surgical Technology and assisted in the operating room during clinical procedures. I have experience as a Substitute Teacher in primary and secondary education. I was also selected as a Learning Assistant for Genetics during my enrollment at George Mason, where I assisted undergraduate students studying genetics. I also have experience working with my own children during the pandemic when schools were remote learning. I am passionate about science in general, but particularly engaged in molecular biology and how biological systems work; the cascades, the signaling pathways, genetics, and the immune system are amazing pieces of our system, it is hard not to get excited about it. I believe education should be engaging and want you to learn as much about the subject as possible.
