I have a passion for helping struggling students reach goals and master content they are struggling with. I pride myself on being a lifelong learner. Education is the basis for a happy, healthy, successful life; this is why I am dedicated to helping students advance academically. I attained my undergraduate degree in Business Management & Leadership with a focus on English from Pfeiffer University in North Carolina and am currently enrolled in the MSL program at Pfeiffer with an anticipated graduation date of April of 2024. My experience working with students from kindergarten to high school seniors spans over a decade.
I tutor elementary, secondary (middle school), and high school English and reading. English, reading, study/organizational skills, and test preparation. My favorite subject to tutor is English, as I have been deeply interested and passionate about reading, writing, spelling, and grammar since childhood. My teaching philosophy and tutoring style are student-centered and individualized to meet each individual learner's needs. My strengths include teaching multilingual learners, students with ADHD, and other learning disabilities. I speak, read, and write Spanish conversationally; this skill has enabled me to reach English Language learners in my role as a teacher/tutor.
