I am graduating from JMU in May with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Family Studies. This year, I have had the opportunity to serve as an undergraduate teaching assistant for abnormal psychology. My AP Psychology teacher in high school was the person who inspired me to study the subject. Since then, my passion for psychology has only grown. I have loved being able to help other students discover that passion. Mental health is a top priority for me, so I will most likely take the clinical or counseling route once I enter graduate school. However, this year, I look forward to gaining more experience by working in the behavioral health unit at Sentara Hospital.

I enjoy cooking and baking when I find the time. I have especially recently gotten into cake decorating and homemade pasta making. I also love to sing, and although I'm not on the stage anymore, I know my fair share of Broadway tunes. My idea of a relaxing night is turning on a true crime documentary and doing a paint-by-numbers. I love spending time with my friends and family. I am also in a sorority at my university.
