As a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film and Television Production, I bring a unique perspective to education. My passion for storytelling and creative problem-solving informs my approach to tutoring, making learning engaging and relevant. I've had the privilege of teaching English in Costa Rica and Madagascar, experiences that honed my ability to adapt to diverse learning styles. My expertise spans creative writing, film analysis, and general academic subjects. I'm particularly enthusiastic about helping students develop critical thinking skills and creative expression. My teaching philosophy centers on meeting students where they are, celebrating their unique strengths, and guiding them to overcome challenges. Outside academia, I'm a filmmaker and singer, constantly exploring new ways to tell stories and connect with others.

Outside of tutoring, I'm passionate about storytelling in various forms. As a screenwriter, director, and singer, I enjoy creating and performing. I'm an avid reader and writer, often exploring diverse cultures and perspectives through literature. My background in international travel, including teaching experiences in Costa Rica and Madagascar, has fostered my love for languages and cross-cultural communication. I also enjoy outdoor activities and am always eager to learn new skills.
