Certified Tutor

I am currently a student at the University of Connecticut and am majoring in Biomedical Engineering. Previously, I have helped teach English to Chinese speaking kids and also taught students how to play the clarinet or guitar. However, I am currently most interested in teaching subjects based in STEM such as math or biology. When I am teaching, I like to focus on the process required to solve a problem because it will allow the student to potentially solve problems they have never encountered before. I do this by providing a lot of examples and working through the steps with the student. When I have free time, I enjoy going to the gym, rock climbing, and playing video games.
