As a dedicated and experienced tutor, my journey in education has been driven by the belief that learning has transformative power.

During high school, I served as a tutor at Kumon, where I provided comprehensive support in math and reading for K-12 students. This foundational experience not only honed my tutoring skills but also instilled in me the importance of personalized and adaptive teaching methodologies. I also created a curriculum with the help of my teacher advisor for middle-school students in social sciences.

My passion for teaching extends beyond the conventional classroom setting. In high school, I served as a peer tutor in algebra, geometry, and calculus, contributing to the academic success of my peers. Furthermore, I volunteered online to provide calculus tutoring remotely.

My commitment to education continued in college, where I actively engaged in various tutoring roles. I volunteered with a club, offering support to nearby elementary and middle schools, and became a valued member of the LEAP program, tutoring young elementary school children. These experiences allowed me to apply my academic expertise in a practical setting, fostering an environment where learning became an enjoyable and enriching experience.

In addition to my hands-on tutoring experiences, I have a strong academic background underscored by my performance on standardized tests. Scoring in the 99th percentile on the SAT and achieving high scores on the ACT showcased not only my proficiency in these subjects but also my ability to effectively convey complex concepts. I am currently a junior majoring in neuroscience and business on the pre-med track.

Beyond tutoring, my academic journey in neuroscience has equipped me with a solid foundation in biology, math, physics, chemistry, and statistics. I have actively engaged in research in my university. This hands-on experience has not only broadened my scientific understanding but has also enriched my problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

As a pre-med student, my coursework reflects my dedication to the sciences, preparing me for a future where I can merge my academic interests in neuroscience with a commitment to healthcare.
