Certified Tutor

I'm a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I graduated two years ago with a Bachelor of Science in Botany and a certificate in Environmental Studies. I've pursued opportunities in tutoring throughout the entirety of my educational career, mentoring in subjects from 7th grade math to college level zoology. Most recently, I worked as a peer tutor for my university's Center for Academic Excellence. I tutored in botany and biology/zoology, working one-on-one with students for the entirety of a semester. My students give me the unique challenge of continually adapting what I know to best guide someone else in their process of learning. Their goals become my focus, and I aim to help them cultivate a strong belief in their own capability to do well within any subject. When not working, I enjoy making meals with dear fiends, scheming for summer garden plans, and rotating through various crafts.
