Certified Tutor

I am a current sophomore at Harvard College studying applied mathematics with biology. I began tutoring in high school through my school's Mu Alpha Theta club and was president my senior year. I love tutoring because I think education is so important and can allow for so many opportunities, especially for socioeconomically disadvantaged youth. There is nothing more rewarding for me than being able to see a student go from struggling to understanding material through their hard work and dedication--especially being able to see that "lightbulb" moment in someone's eyes. I mostly tutor math and science, with my favorite subjects being calculus, statistics, and chemistry. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, bowling, playing chess, and exploring my home city of Las Vegas, Nevada.
