Certified Tutor

In 2023 I received my Bachelor's degree in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon and I have 6 months of Middle School Avid Tutoring experience. In Eugene I tutored at Monroe Middle School, and Arts and Technology Academy, where I helped students with anatomy and physiology, math, writing, and spelling. While working in the Eugene 4J School District, me and my colleagues worked on teaching the students study habits that prepared them for high school and college. My tutoring style depends on having stylized projects and assignments designed for each student I work with. I believe that every student has a unique learning style, so I try to give them assignments that matches their needs and interests. Additionally, I believe in having a safe and supportive learning environment, with emphasis on motivating the student to do their work if they have issues working on assignments or staying focused. When extra assistance may be needed for a student, I am willing to free up my schedule.
