I am deeply passionate about helping students discover their unique ways of understanding academic material and empowering them to become creative problem solvers. My experience spans various age groups and subjects, from giving saxophone lessons to middle-school students to tutoring high school and college students in algebra, biology, and chemistry. I've also delved into elementary education.

I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Cumberland University and specialize in tutoring subjects such as Algebra, High School Biology, High School Chemistry, Music, and Music Theory.

Among these subjects, Algebra holds a special place for me. I find it particularly rewarding to guide students in finding their own paths to understanding a subject that is often considered challenging.

My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering a supportive and interactive learning environment. I believe in empowering students to explore and understand subjects on their own terms. Tailoring my tutoring style to each student's unique learning preferences, I aim not only to ensure comprehension but also to cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I make learning enjoyable by integrating real-world examples and practical applications into sessions and encourage open communication, creating a space for questions and thoughts.

Outside of academia, I find joy in cycling, reading, watching movies and anime, and playing video games.

I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to students' academic journeys and foster a love for learning in a supportive and engaging manner.
