My passion for education stems from my dedication to empowering students through knowledge and skills, particularly in the challenging yet rewarding fields of science and mathematics. As a junior at the University of Miami, majoring in health science on the premedical track, I have honed my expertise in these areas, aspiring to eventually earn my doctorate in medicine. Over the past year, I have been actively involved in tutoring, first with the University of Miami athletic department, and then independently for the SAT math sections. My journey in tutoring began in high school, where I worked with at-risk youth, a foundation that has greatly influenced my approach to teaching.

Mathematics holds a special place in my tutoring portfolio, as it is a subject that resonates deeply with me. I find joy in breaking down complex concepts into simpler, more understandable parts, helping students not just learn, but also appreciate the logic and beauty of math. My tutoring style is tailored to the individual needs of each student. I begin with basic problems to assess their understanding, identify gaps, and then progressively introduce more complex concepts, ensuring a firm grasp of each element before moving on.

Beyond academia, my life is enriched by my passions for cooking, creating music, and exploring new cultures through travel. These hobbies not only provide me with a well-rounded life experience but also bring fresh perspectives and creativity to my teaching methods.

I firmly believe that education is a tool for personal and societal growth. As a tutor, my goal is not just to teach subjects but to instill a love for learning and the confidence to tackle academic challenges. I am committed to guiding students on this journey, helping them to achieve their academic goals and beyond.
