Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Texas A&M-Central Texas. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Business after completing my time in the US Army. I am in the process of finishing up my Master of Science in Educational Psychology with a concentration in Research and Experiment. Since graduation, I have traveled extensively, teaching and tutoring children from all walks of life. I've had the pleasure of teaching on all grade levels from Elementary school age to Highschool age students. I've also had the pleasure teaching in Juvenile centers, and alternative schools. My certification consists of Core Subjects working with students in; English, Math, Science, ELAR (English Language Arts, and Reading), Writing, and ESL (English as Second Language) Social Studies, Geography and many other subjects. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Mathematics, Reading, and Writing. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, we always seem to have the most fun with remarkable advancements. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and learning new things which enriches my life, exercising occasionally, traveling and spending time with family.
