Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Northeast Lakeview College, where I received my Associate's of Science in Engineering. I am currently a student of Palo Alto College, where I am working on my Associate's of Science in Cyber Security and Operations. While working on my engineering degree, I worked as a Student Aide and tutor with Texas A&M College station, where I worked with college freshmen to ensure they were adjusting well to college life and provide any aid needed with their studies. I have worked with children many times over the years, including middle school tutoring in all subject, and working as a mariachi director for my church's mariachi choir program. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I most enjoy English, math (from basic math up to Calculus I), and science (from basic science up to high school physics). I also enjoy working on college prep, primarily the SAT, and the ASVAB. I believe every student should be given an opportunity to better their education, and as someone with ADHD, I fully understand that not every student learns the same way and emphasize the fact that there is always more than one solution to a problem.
