I am very happy with our experience so far with Varsity Tutors. They matched my daughter with reading specialist Mary and she is wonderful! My 10 year old daughter feels happy after her sessions and believes her tutor has already helped her.

Hello,
My name is Ayesha Jean. I was born in Haiti and moved to the United States hoping for a better life and education. From a young age, I learned to speakHaitian Creole,English, andSpanish. Knowing these languages came to my advantage because I can use them to help other individuals when in need. Starting in middle school, I went into Varsity and basketball cheerleading as well as band till the end of High school. In high school, I auditioned for the marching and symphonic band as a flute player. I balanced my cheer, band, extracurricular activities, and school life. I prioritized my time well. I was in the Technical Honor Society, which I had to complete an internship for. I did an internship at a government shelter that served individuals in need. I worked as a receptionist, tutor, and website programmer, and I worked in the food store they had. Even after I finished my internship there, I continued to serve and volunteer. I maintained my grades and all my extracurricular activities while being Vice-President of the FCCLA club. I graduated high school with a 4.0 and honors.
While attending the University of North Georgia, I continued tutoring whenever I could. I created my own study/tutoring group where I helped other students with lessons from class such as Psychology, Sociology, Social Psychology, etc. I also worked at an all-girls group home where I made a tremendous difference not only with my positive energy but also with my tutoring skills. The girls who were failing were able to raise their grades to pass after retaking tests and completing skip assignments. Tutoring is an important aspect of one's education because it can ensure students who need help with their classes can get the help they need. My lessons are exciting, refreshing, and eye-opening. Learning is meant to be fun and that is what my classes are always like. :)
