As a passionate educator with a Master's in Special Education from Western Governors University, I have dedicated over five years to teaching and tutoring, focusing on elementary education and special needs. My journey began in Head Start, where I learned the importance of nurturing the whole child. I thrive on creating engaging, interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles, employing methods such as songs, visuals, and hands-on activities to make concepts like math and science accessible and enjoyable. I currently support kindergarten through second-grade students with special needs, modifying lessons to ensure understanding and retention. My teaching philosophy centers on the belief that all children can learn when given the right tools and encouragement. In my spare time, I enjoy crafting and exploring new ways to make learning fun, and I am committed to fostering a love for education in every child I meet.
